One of the largest automotive retailers in the region is looking for a qualified and highly organized professional to join their car rental division. The key focus of the role is identifying training and development needs, planning and executing strategies to develop the capabilities of employees and the organization as a whole.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring interpret and comply with company training & development standards
  • Identify training and development needs
  • Designing and assessing training programs as per company training & development standard and in coordination with company management
  • Prepare training materials and logistics
  • Work in a team to produce programs that fits the identified training needs in all relevant in all relevant franchisee business areas
  • Plan and coordinate in-house training programs in coordination with company management
  • Prepare training activities reports on regular bases for company management review
  • Support Franchise team with all other administration relating to training and development
  • Tabulate training feedback findings and generate training evaluation reports
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with line managers
  • Consider the costs of planned programs and keep within the approved budgets
  • Devise individual learning plans (one to one) whenever needed
  • Amend and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
  • Ensuring employees receive required training according to company training & development standards programs
  • Help line managers and oversee trainers performance after training, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
  • Involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages, based on company Distance learning system
  • Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present this research

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education / Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years in training field with proven track record in designing and executing successful training programs.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Good Knowledge of the Car Rental Business
  • Interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels, motivate others and change people's attitudes when necessary
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Initiative and the ability to offer new ideas
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving, negotiation and convincing skills
  • Time management skills
  • Passion for continuous learning
  • Good understanding of e-learning techniques & methods
