Job Description

One of the largest Transport, Logistics & Supply Chain organization is looking for a dynamic professional to join their strategic team. The key focus of the role is identifying software, processes, techniques or other ways to ensure that the LD business sector continually improves its efficiency.



  • Identification and implementation of techniques, standards and processes designed to improve the efficiency of all aspects of the LD business sector, including but not limited to:
    • Network design of routes, designed to maximize passenger demand, as efficiently as possible
    • Allocation of vehicles and drivers to routes and timetables designed to maximize efficiency and minimize cost
    • Recruitment and training of driving and other LD sector staff
    • Overall operating philosophy and how the company’s LD sector can operate as efficiently as possible
    • (etc.)
  • Identification and implementation of efficiencies specifically to improve vehicle and driver productivity through independent scheduling of vehicles and drivers
  • Identifying and designing appropriate KPIs and reporting formats to demonstrate the effectiveness of efficiency strategies
  • Identifying software, processes, techniques or other ways to ensure that the LD business sector continually improves its efficiency
  • Working with the Senior Business Analyst to determine how new trips, new routes or new products can be implemented as efficiently as possible
  • Identifying knowledge gaps, systems, processes or techniques required to carry out the above functions, and make suggestions as to how to fill such gaps
  • Providing timely and accurate data and analysis required for other sectors or departments as directed by LD management
  • Working with the Senior Business Analyst to create efficiency forecasts for business case development and financial forecasting and budgeting
  • Providing all reporting, output and processes in accordance with company policies including health and safety
  • Providing all reporting, output and processes to internationally recognized best practice standards



  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Saudi National
  • Experience of implementing efficiency techniques, using systems to deliver efficiencies and determining their effectiveness, ideally within the transportation or logistics sector
  • Independent thinking, able to devise ways of meeting the key task requirements, and to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to deeply understand the commercial impact of efficiencies on the profitability of the LD sector
  • Technically and commercially "savvy" - can use systems to implement efficiencies and prepare reports showing the impact of such efficiencies
