Job Description

Primary Purpose of the Job: 

Achieve allocated equipment sales target


Main Duties:

  • Knows and understands the equipment requirements and buying methods of all customers in his assigned territory
  • Prepares proposals based on customer requirements and standard technical specification
  • Negotiates sales contracts, finalizes sales agreements, and ensures timely payment of receivables
  • Follows up on customer complaints and reports major complaints related to products and/or services to management
  • Delivers equipment to customers and familiarizes them with their operation
  • Promotes sales through making sales calls, identifies and solicits potential clients
  • Monitors and reports on market trends and competitor activity
  • Is able to operate equipment and keeps up-to-date on specifications and features.  Is fluent on the advantages and benefits against competing equipment
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Regional Manager


Key Performance Indicators:

  • Monthly Forecast vs. Actual, Sales Targets, Quotations, Call Report, Lost Sales, Customer List
  • Product Knowledge, Specifications and etc.


Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge & Skills:

  • University degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering is desired
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in sales or service in a similar field
  • High level of negotiation, customer relations, and management skills
  • Proper sales attitude and profile
  • High level of analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Technical background and ability to read and interpret technical terms and products specifications
  • Computer literacy
  • Fluency in English and/or Arabic
