A world-renowned commercial vehicle company in GCC is looking for a self-motivated Sales Engineer to join their team. The main purpose of the job is to perform each essential duty satisfactorily using efficient procedures to ensure the growth of the business.
Essential Duties and Role Responsibilities
- Advise on optimal transport engineering solutions to dealer network, customers and bodybuilders.
- Align vehicle product strategy with current requirements.
- Provide technical input to marketing opportunities and sales campaigns.
- Setting the pricing structure of trucks and buses.
- Provide technical sales support and assistance to team.
- Identify, collate and evaluate product development requests and submit to the factory.
- Prepare and deliver product technical training to the sales teams
- Represent company within market level professional bodies and industry organisations.
- Represent company at different industry shows and events.
- Market segmentation and monitoring.
- Support the dealer network with working processes for specification and quotation tools.
- University degree in mechanical engineering and/or business administration.
- 2 years’ experience with heavy vehicles or busses.
- Excellent technical knowledge.
- Effective negotiation and influencing skills
- Analytical, innovative and business skilled
- Fluent in English.
