Kia has launched the second generation of the KIA Cadenza, their full-size sedan.

Completely redesigned from front till back, the new Cadenza looks significantly sharper. Compared to other sedans in the category, it right in the middle in terms of length, width and height, however the newly sculpted body gives it a more athletic appearance.

On the inside, the Cadenza punches well above its weight. The quality of the finishing is on par with the German car makers, and depending on the trim level, drivers have a 7” or 8” touchscreen built into the dashboard. All models have UVO eServices, an onboard telematics system that can diagnose a mechanical problem, alert the driver for vehicle maintenance, and call for help in the event of an accident. Kia has also included Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as a standard in their new model.

The Kia’s 3.3litre V6 can’t keep up with its European rivals, or even the Nissan Maxima. It’s 290hp are (weirdly) 3 less than in the first generation Cadenza, and the 8 speed automatic takes the driver from 0-100 in 6.7 seconds. While that is less than any of it's competitors, is still almost as fast as a Golf GTI.

Prices in the UAE start at AED 86,900, and considering the interior finishing and Kia's general quality, we think this is a great price!
