THE NEW E-COUPE WAS LAUNCHED IN THE GCC THIS WEEK
Feature Stories, Car News, AUTO World
Launched for the GCC at a glamorous event in Dubai Design District this past week, the new Mercedes E-Class Coupe really turns heads.
The new coupe is positioned perfectly between the C-Class and S-Class coupes, and is just as good looking as its stable mates. Positioned well above the A5, the only real competitor for the E-Coupe will be the new BMW 6-Series, which hasn’t been announced yet.
The E-Coupe will be available as an E200, E300, or E400, with up to 333hp and 490nm of torque in the E400. Compared to the current 6-Series models, the Mercedes can’t compete in terms of performance, and we’ll eagerly be awaiting an AMG version of the coupe.
Starting price of the E200 will be AED 220,184, up to AED 295,844 for the E400.
Mercedes-Benz clearly has set out to build a grand tourer, and knowing how Mercedes’ drive, we’re pretty sure they’ll have achieved just that.
